Survival Mode Is Coming To Fallout 76

Fallout 76 players can look forward to the beta of the Survival Mode, which will bring a more intense PvP experience.

Fallout 76

Survival Mode will be perfect for Fallout 76 that want full-on PvP carnage without any restrictions. Something like this was requested by many, and Bethesda should have implemented an option like this way before. Why didn’t we get PvE and PvP servers, so that people can either enjoy hunting down monsters or hunting down players?

The beta for the Survival Mode is planned for March, but that isn’t a completely sure release date as Bethesda doesn’t know if they will have everything ready by then. Knowing them. you can probably expect it by the beginning of April or something like that.

When you boot up your game, you will be presented with two options: Adventure Mode and Survival Mode. Adventure Mode is what you’ve been playing all this time. Survival Mode is the exact same in terms of game content, but everyone that is not a teammate or a public event partner automatically gets flagged as hostile. This means that you will be able to go around and shoot anyone you want. No need for them to fire back in order to deal full damage to them.

Level scaling will stay, so that high-level players don’t outright murder anything that they outlevel. Fallout 76 players will get double the caps for killing other players, and you can only respawn in Vault 76 or at your CAMP site.

If they don’t mess up anything, the Survival Mode could be the thing that Fallout 76 needed all this time.
