Sunless Sea is a title where you get to explore a dark and sinister world filled with monstrosities and insanity. It was announced a couple of hours ago by Failbetter Games that this game would arrive on PlayStation 4.
Failbetter Games are masters at making these immensely atmospheric titles which seem to combine Lovecraftian elements with steampunk aesthetics, which makes for a terrific combination. This isn’t a title that everyone will enjoy, even though it is adored by its fans, even they say that this isn’t the most user-friendly title out there. But, if you manage to stick through a couple of hours of pain and misery, you’ll get the hang of it and then you can enjoy this wonderful survival/exploration game.
The developers of the game have just announced via Twitter that they are partnering up with BlitWorks once again (the same people that helped them port the game to iPad) to bring Sunless Sea to PlayStation 4. We don’t know when the port is arriving and if it’s going to bring some exclusive content with it, as there was not much information given other than the fact that its just coming.
Sunless Sea is an amazing title, with stellar worldbuilding that will keep your curiosity running high as you’re exploring insane new places that excite you and terrify you at the same time. It is a game that can get tedious at times, but nothing is perfect in the world of video gaming. Still, if you like the idea of exploring the scary unknown with a crew while risk making all of them insane as they come in contact with various absurd situations, then this is the game for you.
