Capcom has announced Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition for PS4 and Windows PC, bringing an updated version of the latest entry in the mainline legendary fighting franchise.
This version of the game includes all of the content that is available in the base game, as well as the new gameplay content such as Arcade Mode and Extra Battle Mode, plus new V-Trigger moves, redesigned UI, a Gallery and more. This content will be available to those who already own Street Fighter V, and will arrive via a free in-game update when it launches.
If you are planning to purchase this edition for the sake of the DLC, then it is worth keeping in mind that it will include the Season 1 and Season 2 DLC characters, though these will not be available for those who own the base game, and will not be accessible as part of the free in-game update post release. If you own the base game and would like the Season 1 and Season 2 DLC characters, then you can obtain them through Fight Money that you have earned in-game, or you can purchase in-game currency to buy them.
Street Fighter V is now available on PS4 and PC. A final DLC character is still yet to be announced.
