The developers behind Stellaris are known for keeping their fans up to date with everything they are working on to bring improvements to the game. This latest diary is quite the contrary, as it is short and announces that the devs will be taking a break from feature development diaries over the course of the next few weeks. This is with a good cause however, since it gives the team the chance to focus on the latest update and allow players to enjoy Synthetic Dawn.
Over these few weeks, the team certainly won’t be playing idle. There will still be filler diaries coming, just to outline whaever is on their minds. However, they will not be based around any features or development priorities. The developers are already working on the “next big thing” but are not ready to reveal what this is just yet. The feature diaries will make a return to normal service on October 26th.
In the meantime, if you can’t wait for more updates on Stellaris, hopefully the image above of the game’s internal development build will tide you over. The image is described as having “absolutely no context or explanation,” but it’s all they are offering for the time being, at least until the tail end of next month when the next developer diary releases.
