The developers behind Conan Exiles have given players an update on the current state of the game on both PC and Xbox One, with the majority of fixes and optimizations being implemented to improve the survival experience over the next six months of Early Access.
As far as PC is concerned, there is a number of changes following last weeks patch, with the highlight being the alterations made to the repair system. Going forward, players will no longer be able to repair items without the recipe. This change helps the devs increase loot drop value, which in turn aids adding a new weapon to the game without having to circumvent the crafting system. More changes are set to arrive in the near future for PC, including those made to the repair system, such as adding a time cost to repair and bringing repair kits and whetstones to further enhance it.
As for Xbox One, last week’s update apparently didn’t have the desired effects from the developers’ standpoint, so another stability patch will be brought in this week. To help aid matters, there will be a secondary crash report system added to the platform, which will help players give more detailed information about their crashes and other issues.
Ultimately, parity between PC and Xbox One is the primary goal next for the game, with the full list of changes found here.
