Stardew Valley’s Multiplayer Update Live On PC
Stardew Valley is one of those games that you play to relax. Sometimes relaxing by yourself is nice, but relaxing with your friends is even better, which is possible now on the PC.
We play games as a form of escape from our everyday lives. That’s nothing new, other people do it as well just in different ways. Maybe they read books or watch a lot of movies. But, games give you this freedom of picking what you do in this new world, and in Stardew Valley, you inherit a farm. Taking care of a farm may not seem particularly interesting to you, but you just need to see the user reviews for this game and you’ll understand.
Now, there was something that a lot of players asked for, and that is multiplayer. This seems like the perfect title to hop into with a few friends and just spend a quiet evening together. This is a rather relaxing game, and the PC version finally got multiplayer. You and up to three friends of yours can now play together.
Just press the co-op button which can be found on the screen and you will be greeted by the co-op menu. As expected, one of the players needs to be the host and the other players get invited to the game once it’s been hosted. The 1.3 patch that brought multiplayer to Stardew Valley also introduced new character events, new garden pots, traveling festivals, and more. We can even change professions now in-game without much issue.
