Many fans of Stardew Valley will be awaiting its arrival on Nintendo Switch, and for those who are, there has been some good news revealed recently.
In a recent blog post by developer Chucklefish, we learned that the port is currently in testing, and that we should here more soon regarding its launch: “The port is in testing now, and we’ll let you know as soon as we can confidently announce a release date. We generally don’t announce release dates until quite close to launch, when we are at least 95% certain that nothing will go terribly terribly wrong.”
Stardew Valley is one of the many indie games that will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch, as the company look to bring a number of indies to the latest home console. Other titles include the likes of No More Heroes, Shovel Knight King of Card, Super Meat Boy and Kentucky Route Zero.
As for Chucklefish, they are currently working on their next project, and they will be taking what they have learned from Stardew Valley, stating they have “learned a lot of lessons” whilst making the popular farming simulator game.
So fingers crossed for Nintendo Switch owners looking to get their hands on Stardew Valley, as it looks like a port launch date is imminent.
