Star Wars Battlefront II Patch 1.2 Gets Detailed
Star Wars Battlefront II was one of the most controversial and divisive games of 2017. As such, both EA and DICE have been working hard to try and win back the fans and critics who bashed and dismissed the game for various reasons. Since its launch, the game has had many updates and DLC, including one tying into The Last Jedi movie release. Most importantly though, they’ve been working on balancing the game for its players, and a new patch is going to do that very soon.
On the official Battlefront II forums, Patch 1.2 got detailed. Although, according to the Community Manager, there’s no set release date yet:
“While the patch is currently in testing and headed for certification, we do not have an ETA for its release.”
So, what’s in the patch? Well, a brand new mode that was teased before in Jetpack Cargo, where you’ll try and transport an item to an area while flying around, and dodging enemy fire, in a jetpack. The mode though will only be around for a limited time.
Aside from that, there will be a lot of updates and bug fixes to the game. For example, there are going to be some big improvements to the Arcade Mode, there will be balances to the Hero characters as well as player Classes. And, of course, there will be bug fixes, however, maybe not as many as players would like:
“I want to highlight that while some key Known Issues will be addressed in this update, a lot of them will not, the team is very much working to address them, and we hope to bring that list to zero items in the near future.”
It’s a solid step, and the page is definitely worth the read. A more detailed Patch Notes is set to arrive once the patch is ready for release.
