For those who have been dying to try out Star Wars Battlefront II, then this is the week to do so, the the beta officially landing on October 6th, which will run through until October 9th.
In this beta, there will be four modes for players to choose from. Firstly, Galactic Assault sees players joining up with a team of Separist battle droids in a three-stage attack in the capital city of Thood on Naboo on the royal palace. Battle Points can be earned throughout, which can be used to upgrade yourself, call in support vehicles or become one of the many iconic characters from the franchise.
Meanwhile, there is also Starfighter Assault mode taking place above Fondor. Here, players will hit up an A-wing, X-wing or Y-wing to begin attacking the Imperial Star Destoyer. You will be able to pick up Battle Points to redeem awesome support such as the Millennium Falcon.
As for Strike mode, players will join a team of eight located on the planet of Takodana. Here, you are able to take advantage of the special abilities of all four distinctive trooper classes to emerge victorious and breach Maz Kantana’s castle.
Of course, these will only be a small part of the full game that you will be embarking on come November 17th, with the full release offering eleven Galactic Assault maps, five Starfighter Assault maps, and much more.
