South Korea was already a heavy favorite going into the Overwatch World Cup 2017, yet they are still managing to exceed the expectations of many, thanks to the tactics that they have been using.
There’s a developing competitive scene going on within the country, and the best of the bunch have been competing in the Overwatch World Cup, and sweeping other sides away with their intuitive team work and heavy preparation. By the end of the weekend, South Korea had come out more or less completely unscathed, not dropping a map the entire time. They’ve also managed to do so using every hero on the roster with the exception of Symmetra.
With a level of skill as high as this, it makes you wonder whether any other country can actually pose a challenge, never mind beating them altogether. They have blazed their way through the likes of Austria, Poland, The Netherlands, and Russia in showcase performances that have bordered on the downright cheeky at times, such is the ability of this current outfit.
