Sony is only getting started, so we should prepare for a flood of new PlayStation games. Days Gone is one of the most recent ports, with the first one being Horizon: Zero Dawn. The execs at Sony probably saw what Microsoft was doing to unite PC and Xbox players. Then they understood that this is the evolution of the console war that now includes the PC.

However, Sony won’t just sit back and let Microsoft take it all. They want a piece of the PC pie as well. That’s why they’ve bought the Nixxes Software studio. These people specialize in PC ports, as they’ve been bringing games like the new Tomb Raider trilogy, Deus Ex: Manking Divided, and the recent catastrophy known as Marvel’s Avengers  to PC.

Bringing an expert on PC ports is a smart power play. Sony is making sure everyone knows more of their critically claimed exclusives are getting ready to raid the PC platform. Which is an amazing thing for us PC players. Let’s just hope they finally bring Bloodborne to us. We’ve waited for far too long.

Hermen Hulst, Head of PlayStation Studios announced the acquisition on Twitter. Are you excited for what Sony and Nixxes Studios have in store for us PC players? Let me know which games you think are getting a PC port next in the comments section down below!
