Six New Titles Added to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

The ever-growing list of backwards compatible games on Xbox One added six more classic titles this week. The extensive line up now features the Xbox 360 renditions of Call of Duty Ghosts and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is arguably one of the most popular titles among fans of the franchise, with over 50,000 votes to bring it to the modern generation. Taking the AC blend of action to Rome, Brotherhood introduced multiplayer to the series, as well as a management system that let players recruit assassins to work alongside them.

Clocking in at 26,000 votes, Call of Duty Ghosts also joined the backwards compatibility line up, following Call of Duty Black Ops and Black Ops 2 from the franchise. There are other heavily requested titles that come from the COD series, with the likes of Modern Warfare 2 coming in at 180,000 votes to date.

Four other titles joined these two blockbuster games, with Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3, Radiant Silvergun, Cyber Troopers Virtual-On and Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII. Some may remember Radiant Silvergun releasing on the classic Sega Saturn console back in the day.

Backwards compatible games can be played on disc if you own the game, or downloaded digitally from the Xbox Store.
