Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is getting a free GOTY update in a couple of days that’s bringing new boss challenge modes, player recordings, and unlockable skins to everyone.
From Software knows how to treat their fans. Since most people that enjoy their games are insane sadists, Sekiro’s upcoming GOTY update allows you to experience insanity on a whole new level never before seen in one of their games. Do you like taking on the game’s complex and mighty bosses but everything in between bores you? Then this free update is a match made in heaven for you in a way. Reflection of Strength and Gauntlet of Strength lets you experience two things. One allows the player to replay any boss battle they’ve completed. The other throws you in a series of boss battles where you only have one life. Complete and utter insanity that many Sekiro players will adore.
On the other hand, there’s the Remanents feature. It’s mostly there for you to brag about your 900-hours playtime where you perfected your skills. These recorded snippets of your gameplay can be uploaded for everyone to see. Anyone that watches your remnant gives you a tiny HP boost in real-time. Lastly, there are three stylish new outfits for Wolf. Completing the gauntlet modes gives you two of these, and the last one is unlocked by completing the campaign.
