SEGA has revealed its plans for this year’s San Diego Comic Con, where they will host a panel, show floor game demos, have a number of contests, autographs sessions and much more.
Over the course of the five-day event, the star of the show as far as SEGA are concerned will be Sonic the Hedgehog, who will be celebrated in a number of different events across the five days. This will include a behind-the-scenes panel on the highly anticipated Sonic Mania, as well as a “Sounds of Sonic” music extravaganza, demos for both Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces, plus a Sonic “Ring Jump” contest and a Sonic Boom viewing experience on a 360 dome.
The panel, which will take place on Saturday July 22nd from 7:30pm to 8:30pm in the Convention Center Room 24ABC, will star head of Sonic Team Takashi Iizuka, artist for Sonic Mania Tom Fry, composer for Sonic Mania Tee Lopes, and Aaron Webber, the social media manager for Sonic.
The team will be discussing the road to development that has been taken for Sonic Mania, as well as other insights before the game releases on August 15th. So if you’re looking to hear all the latest news regarding the game, San Diego is the place to be this July.
