If you’re a fan of JRPGs you probably already played Ni no Kuni 2, which is getting new DLC in the near future.
More of Ni no Kuni 2 content is always welcome. The first piece of DLC that came to the game was free, but “The Lair of the Lost Lord” is premium DLC that you have to pay for. Totally understandable considering that it’s bringing quite a nice amount of content to the game. We’re going to explore a labyrinth dungeon in this DLC, get to enhance our fighting style through the new Material Method system, and of course, there are new weapons and quests for our main characters.
So, what is this Labyrinth that they’re talking about? Well, one day a strange gate appeared inside the Rubbly Ruins. Of course, obscure gates appear out of thin air, this is a JRPG after all. Anyhow, enter this gate and you’re going to find yourself in the middle of the aforementioned Labyrinth. Why are we here? To stop the evil Prince of Wraiths and his plans of using the gate to corrupt and lay waste to the Evermore Kingdom. Pretty standard affairs.
A new dungeon together with the new Material Method system and over 80 new weapons and armor make this DLC a worthwhile purchase. When is The Lair of the Lost Lord coming? We don’t know, as not much information was given about the release date, so stay tuned for more news!
