One of the most anticipated exclusives coming to Microsoft platforms is arguably the swashbuckling Sea of Thieves, which will hit Xbox One and Windows 10 PC in early 2018.
The legendary Rare team that are behind the game have often revealed what they are working on throughout the development procress, and the latest video showcases the work they have done on bringing a non-verbal communication system. Voice chat will still be playing a vital role in Sea of Thieves, though this video shows how players who either can’t or choose not to use voice communications can still have a rapport with other players.
The video below features community video manager Jon McFarlane and senior designer Andrew Preston offering a look at the non-verbal comms.
What’s more, there are key phrases available for players to use, which will be automatically translated from different countries to further enhance your connection with your crew.
The development process is now on the final stretch it seems, as far as the highly anticipated Sea of Thieves is concerned. We won’t have that much longer to wait, with the release of the game finally coming in just a few months time in early 2018. There is now release date yet, but at least we have a window to go off of.
