Sea Of Thieves Beta Dates Released
Rare has been responsible for some of the greatest video games of all time, and even some of the most fun games ever made. So when they announced they were making something completely new, it had fans intrigued. But no one expected them to make an MMORPG of sorts called Sea of Thieves. The game has been the talk of many, but now, the game will soon be able to play via its beta which has now gotten a release date.
The beta will run from the 24th-29th of this month, “which gives pirates a full five days of sailing, shanties and shenanigans.” Players should take heart in knowing that the beta will feature a good chunk of the gameplay mechanics that you’ll be experiencing when the full game arrives later this year. However, they also note that some things are being kept “up their sleeves” so that they can surprise gamers later on.
So, how do you get into the beta? Well, if you registered for the Sea of Thieves Insider Programme before December 1st of last year, you’re in. Or, if you have pre-ordered the game, you’re in. So there’s still time to make sure you get the chance to test the beta before the game releases.
Sea of Thieves is meant to be the ultimate pirate adventure. You’ll start out as a lowly pirate, and then through quests, fighting, and treasure hunting you’ll grow your rank and reputation. You’ll fight on the beaches, on the high seas in your ships, and both team up with and fight other players to get the gold you deserve.
It should be noted that the upcoming beta will not be covered by an NDA, which will allow players to stream the game’s beta to their hearts content.
So, if you’re interested in the game, you might want to be part of that beta.
