Scout Receiving Nerfs In Upcoming Battlefield 1 Update
A lot of Battlefield 1 players wanted the Scout class to get nerfed as it was too accessible and everyone used sniper rifles, which were too powerful. Now, it seems like DICE finally heard these prayers, as the class is getting nerfed in the next update. The Sweet Spot mechanic is bothering a lot of players, and it is actually really strange how much time it took for DICE to notice all these complaints. If you want an in-depth analysis of the changes that are coming, you should watch the video down below.
Since the Sweet Spot mechanic allowed one player to basically kill another with just one shot, you can imagine just how pissed off people got. Even though it’s quite late, the nerf to the popular Battlefield 1 class is coming, and it is bringing features that will allow players to avoid getting hit in their sweet spot. Now, all rifles that use Sniper, Marksman, and Patrol scops got this thing called a rainbow lens flare, which will tell a player if he’s in the Sweet Spot range. This allows for more counterplay against snipers, as now you can tell if you’re going to get oneshot, and you can quickly try to find a cover or try to take out the sniper before he takes you out.
Lot’s of other things like the new Depth of Field effect were also added, and snipers can then reduce it by themselves by holding their breath. We will see if these changes are enough when they hit the live servers.
