Rust Introduces Musical Instruments With Its Newest DLC
RUST just introduced its very first premium DLC to its fanbase and its contents are focused around musical instruments.
Survival and music
RUST is one of those survival titles where you or a bunch of friends can go into an untamed land and make it your own. Of course, there are servers with other players. On these servers, PvP is quite present and one of the more exciting parts of the game. Raiding other clans and their bases, having open battles. It’s all a lot of fun. But, is it really an enticing slaughter without a Plumber’s Trumpet to back up your warcries? No, it’s not. Thankfully, the game’s first premium DLC adds a bunch of musical instruments.
An actually developed control system for the instruments
This was certainly an unexpected development. However, it’s an exciting one. Mostly because these instruments aren’t “press to play”. The devs made a new control system so you can bind the note range (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) to any keys you want to. You can play over 20 notes on some of these instruments. Those that have a MIDI device and plug it in and play a majority of the instruments in real-time. Talk about immersion.
The Instruments Pack comes with the following items:
- Wheelbarrow Piano
- Junkyard Drum Kit
- Xylobones
- Plumber’s Trumpet
- Sousaphone
- Cowbell
- Canbourine
- Jerry Can Guitar
- Shovel Bass
- Pan Flute
As you can see, there’s something for everyone there. So, if you’re into survival and music, this DLC will be right up your alley. December 5th is when it’s launching, so keep an eye out for it.
For anyone that hasn’t given RUST a try, here’s the deal. You can buy a RUST PC game key on HRK Game for a great price. It’s one of the better survival games out there, and now it will even get instruments!
