Ronaldinho Added To ICON Lineup In FIFA 18

At FUT LIVE today, EA Sports has revealed Stories for FUT ICONS in FIFA 18, which will be released on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. This aims to expand on the ICONS feature, which will allow players to get three different versions of some of the legends of the game to join their FUT squads. EA have also announced that Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho will be joining the ICON lineup, joining the likes of Pele, Ronaldo Nazrio, Thierry Henry, Lev Yashin, Diego Maradona, plus others such as Rui Costa, Patrick Viera and many others revealed.

In terms of Ronaldinho’s ICON story, it will focus on three key times in him career, including his time in 2002 playing for Paris St. Germain plus winning the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea and Japan, plus his time playing for Milan in 2010 where he won the league in his final season for the club, and 2004 when he was awarded FIFA World Player of the Year in what was a dominant season in La Liga for the player.

Meanwhile, for those who pre-order the Ronaldo Edition of FIFA 18 will gain access three days early, as well as additional FUT content on PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC. This content includes 20 jumbo premium gold packs, which will be given once per week for 20 consecutive weeks, plus eight special edition FIFA Ultimate Team kits, which have been designed by FIFA 18 soundtrack artists, as well as a Cristiano Ronaldo loan player for five FUT matches.
