Independent game developer Psyonix has teamed up with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to bring worldwide retail distribution agreement for Rocket League. The indie smash hit is currently available digitally for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Kevin Kebodeaux, the senior vice president of sales in the Americas for Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, is looking forward to bringing Rocket League to retailers worldwide: “Rocket League has such wide appeal across all audiences, it’s no wonder the game is such a huge success. We’re very excited to be working with Psyonix to bring the game to retailers across the globe.”
Rocket League has already been winner or nominee of over 150 Game of The Year awards, and considered one of the most popular and important sports games of the current generation of gaming. It currently has a community of over 36 million players, bringing a soccer-car hybrid that has taken each platform by storm. So if you are yet to try it out, then you should definitely join in and see what all the fuss is about, and given that it is available on several platforms, there is the choice in what platform you play it on.
Rocket League is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4, with a release on Nintendo Switch coming later this year.
