The Rocket League eSports scene is currently thriving, and has now revealed some details behind the fourth season of the Championship Series world finals.
The event will offer a prize pool of $150,000, and will take place on November 10-12 in Washington DC. The competition will see 10 teams competing for the majority share of the prize pool, which will be up for grabs at the MGM National Harbor.
Europe, Oceania and North America will be the three regions that will be competing in the tournament, though reigning champions Northern Gaming will not be appearing, after selling their roster to Team EnVyUs earlier this year. The European scene is looking very healthy, with dominant teams such as Method and PSG Esports running the show, so whether or not Northern Gaming decide to defend their title remains to be seen.
If you’re looking to purchase a ticket, you’re looking at prices ranging from around $67 to $106, and will be on sale for you to buy later this week on Friday.
Rocket League is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4. If you own a Nintendo Switch, then you’ll be able to get your hands on the game yourself later this year, with a release planned for the Holiday season.
