The fall update for Rocket League has finally arrived, bringing new arenas, cars and free items as the indie smash hit continues to offer its players more and more free content.
For the criticisms the game faces for its inclusion of microtransactions, it perfectly balances out by offering players with plentiful free content. The latest update will be no exception to this rule, with new arenas and free items.
On the subject of arenas, a seasonal one will be introduced with Farmstead, in which matches take place in a field surround by farmland. There is also five standardized arenas including Starbase Arc, Wasteland, Champions Field (Day), Mannfield (Snowy), and DFH Stadium (Day). So there is already plenty going on just based on the arena front.
The main highlight is over 90 items that will be introduced to make your battle car even more awesome. This expansive addition includes a tiny bunny topper, a Taco Boost special effect, pinwheels and much more. The new banner system will also be coming with the update, which add another cosmetic delight as it surrounds your name after scoring a goal.
Rocket League is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with a Nintendo Switch version coming later this year.
