Rising Storm 2: Vietnam Has A Multiplayer Campaign
You won’t find many shooters that have multiplayer campaigns, but Rising Storm 2: Vietnam does.
The Multiplayer Campaign mode came out a few days ago. So, what’s it all about? Well, it is a complex tactical mode in which the players get to decide the outcome of the Vietnam War. You’re going to take part in many difficult battles, and formulate a strategy together with all players. Everyone needs to vote and decide where your faction attacks, where they defend, and so on. All players in a faction get to decide what happens next, and that’s what makes this mode special.
For you to win this Rising Storm 2: Vietnam Campaign, someone needs to end the 11-year period of this war. The one who ends up with more Victory Points will be crowned the winner. You can also just go and capture every single territory on the map, but that’s quite a challenging task. A single battle represents one year, so make sure you win those in order to get more victory points and new territories. As time goes on, each faction gets more options when it comes to equipment and commander abilities.
All factions have access to their special ability. The North has the Ho Chi Minh trail, and the South has Search and Destroy. These are incredibly powerful and advantageous abilities which can turn the tide of battle in mere seconds, but they have a three-turn cooldown. All players need to vote in order for the commander to use these abilities once they are available.
