Riot’s Valorant Can Run On Any PC
Seems like Riot wants everyone to play their upcoming free-to-play shooter Valorant as even the most lowest-end PC can run it.
Riot surprised everyone when they announced Valorant for PC. A strange mix of CS: GO and Overwatch that features slick and clean gunplay mixed with special abilities that all characters have. Each character possesses unique playstyles and unique special moves that they can use. But take those things away and this is identical to CS: GO, which isn’t a bad thing in a way. After all, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has one of the smoothest shooting gameplay formulas on the market.
However, it’s clear that Valorant wants to compete with the best of the best shooters out there. It’s insanely low system requirements definitely help with that:
Minimum (30 fps):
- OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit)
- RAM: 4GB
- CPU: Intel i3-370M
- GPU: Intel HD 3000 (1GB VRAM)
Recommended (60 fps):
- OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit)
- RAM: 4GB
- CPU: Intel i3-370M
- GPU: Intel HD 3000 (1GB VRAM)
As you can see, you can run this game on your old flip phone from 2002. Which goes excellently with a shooter that is going to be free-to-play. Now we just have to wait and play the game ourselves to see how exactly they manage to blend CS: GO with Overwatch.
Speaking of those two shooters, have you played them yet? CS: GO is free, so go try it. Overwatch isn’t, but it’s available for a dirt-cheap price on HRK Game right now!
