Red Faction: Guerrilla was one of those games that had destructible environments, and it allowed you to do pretty much whatever you wanted in an open world. It was really fun, and it became a classic very quickly as more people realized that this amount of chaos in an open world is unrivaled, so a lot of people will be really happy to know that the Red Faction: Guerrilla ‘Re-Mars-tered’ Edition release date was announced. The remaster is going to feature fully reworked graphics, improved shadow rendering, improved lighting, reworked shaders, and postprocessing and it is coming on July 3rd, 2018. The gameplay won’t be touched, and it shouldn’t be, as it was almost flawless when it came to everything, gunplay, vehicles, the destructible terrain, enemy behavior, and so on.

Fun chaos at that, and if you never played Red Faction: Guerrilla before, this trailer shows everything that is destructible in the game, and almost everything is. Breaking apart structures with rockets and explosions is really fun, if you hadn’t already noticed, and this open-world shooter is all about that. The Red Faction Re-Mars-tered Edition looks really slick, and the graphics have been turned up by quite a bit, so if by some strange occurrence you never managed to get your hands on Red Faction: Guerrilla, you can now try the Re-Mars-tered Edition.
