Red Dead Redemption 2 Social Club Features Revealed
Rockstar Games recently released a mega-hit in the form of Red Dead Redemption 2. The title has not only garnered critical praise from just about everyone who’s played it, but the early sales of the title is at 17 million units sold. That’s a lot for a little over two weeks. It also had the biggest grossing opening 3-days in the history of the entertainment industry. But, if you want more from the game, or you need something more social to do, then you’re in luck.
Why? Because on their website, Rockstar Games detailed the Social Club aspect of Red Dead Redemption 2. This extension of the game will allow you to play without having to be on your system at times, and also allow you to dive deeper into the world of the game.
Things you’ll get include access to the “Catalogue”
Whether you’re in need of a new hat, supplies for the road or ammunition for your arsenal, Wheeler & Rawson have got you covered. Visit your nearest Gunsmith or General Store to peruse the catalogue in-game, or visit the online catalogue to make purchases while out and about.
Or, if you’re in the need to know exactly how well your character is doing without having to sift through everything in the main game, the companion app can help with that:
When connected to your Rockstar Games Social Club account, you can get quick access to interactive tracking of your current progress within the story, keep tabs on the challenges you have taken on and revisit details of anything you have encountered.
Finally, for you artistic types, you have a camera feature:
Use Arthur’s camera to take pictures and then share directly to the Social Club community. View your photos in the in-game gallery and on the Social club website. You can also browse through, comment on and rate photos taken by other Social Club members, by visiting socialclub.rockstargames.com/photos.
