Reaper’s NerfRival Hellfire Shotgun Looks Amazing
There are all kinds of Nerf guns out there in the world, some of them cool, others not so much. But, Overwatch players can all agree that the Hellfire Shotguns that Reaper uses look absolutely amazing, so now there’s a Nerf gun that looks exactly like it.
As everyone who has ever used a Nerf gun knows, they need to look cool in order for us to pick them. Unlike real guns that can cause serious damage, these ones are here just to look impressive. Naturally, that makes us want to pick the best-looking weapons, and the Hellfire shotgun looks as edgy as you can get. That can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it, but if we’re being totally objective, the simulated digital image of the gun looks absolutely badass. The actual gun may look slightly different, but we like the way that Blizzard is going with this.
The team-up between Hasbro and Blizzard to create a Nerf gun replica of Reaper’s weapon was a rather unexpected thing. But, from the looks of it, Blizzard is trying to push Overwatch into as many different directions as it can, which we saw when we talked about the contract that they’ve made with Disney in order to bring their Overwatch League to channels like ESPN, ESPN 2, Disney XD, and ABC.
The Nerf gun replica will hold eight Nerf Rival rounds and it will have a ready indicator, a safety lock, and a spring-action mechanism.
