Rare has released a brand new trailer for the highly anticipated Sea of Thieves. Narrated by design director Mike Chapman, the video discusses the lore behind the game, as well as showcasing how the world was built. The narrative delves deep into the history that has been created by pirates, leaving a foundation to be built upon by players when the game releases.
Fear not however, as the golden age of the pirates is to be molded by the game, with players set to play a major role in how it all plays out. This is rather enigmatic at this stage, but we are certain to learn more as development progresses and of course, the inevitable release of the title.
Sea of Thieves has been riding the crest of a wave as of late (no pun intended), with some very positive feedback from the recent closed beta. Not only that, but there was also the announcement that it will be made a part of the Xbox Game Pass from the day of release. Needless to say, there is still plenty more to come from Rare and the team.
Sea of Thieves is set for release on March 20th on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
