Its good news for fans of Rainbow Six Siege, as Ubisoft continue to make strides in improving the game in its second year.
The Year 2 Season 3 patch will be released soon, and will bring about a number of changes, including how patches are introduced on both PC and console platforms, which will open the door for new changes on both players systems and over at Ubisoft. Faster loading times and other useful alterations are expected to to be made in this patch.
This came from the official blog, which discussed the alterations made, and reveals the patch sizes that will apply to each platform. Ubisoft stated: “We have adjusted the texture quality for each level of graphics settings on PC, low to Ultra. This will result in a slight increase in quality for character textures and a significant increase for environment texture quality available for all settings. The updated HD texture pack on PC will effectively be an unscaled source quality of our texture UV Maps. Details about the improvements that you will see can be found in the Maps and Operators blogs.”
Rainbow Six Siege, the tactical online shooter by Ubisoft, is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
