Rainbow Six Extraction isn’t bringing its co-op alien slaughtering party when it was supposed to thanks to a delay.
When I first heard about Rainbow Six Extraction I wasn’t that excited. A co-op game where you and your pals take on an army of faceless aliens? Set in the Rainbow Six Siege universe with a lot of destructible environments and lots of tactical opportunities? All this sounds like Rainbow Six Siege with premium bots.
They went in a totally wild direction with this game. Yet, we won’t play the game this year to see it in action for ourselves. Yup, Rainbow Six Siege got hit with the delay baseball bat. Laying your hands on this co-op title will be possible next year. The reasoning for the delay is the same as always:
We are confident this will ensure Rainbow Six Extraction is the immersive, cooperative, and thrilling experience we set out to create, and the one you aspire to play.”
Devs shouldn’t announce release dates these days. They just force themselves into a corner. And you should expect delays all the time today. I’m not sure any new triple-A game releases when it was supposed to.
In conclusion, Rainbow Six Extraction won’t release in 2020 thanks to this delay. The game comes out in January 2022.
