Ragnarok Release Date Announced for ARK: Survival Evolved
The Ragnarok expansion coming to the popular survival game ARK: Survival Evolved finally has a release date for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.
Studio Wildcard have had their hands full as of late, with the developers looking to keep on top of the several bugs and other issues, specifically for the Xbox One version. As a consequence, the latest patch has been delayed for release of PlayStation 4. The studio’s priority has been to fix the Xbox One version in order to prevent the same issues occurring on PS4, therefore delaying the update release date until July 12th.
As for the highly anticipated Ragnarok expansion, that will be heading to consoles on July 19th. The upcoming mod expansion is only just over a week away, though Studio Wildcard dates aren’t always accurate, and are often subject to delays. This past weekend did see the release of patch v261 on PC, with the v758 patch finally making its way onto Xbox One, having previously released on PC.
ARK: Survival Evolved has come under fire as of late, particularly over the issue of the game’s pricing, with many feeling that the game isn’t yet completed ahead of its full release date this summer.
