PvP Will Be Merciless In The First Phase Of WoW Classic
Blizzard told us that we would be getting WoW Classic in six phases, and the first one doesn’t include a formal PvP system.
Some players remember the beginning days of WoW, the most magical of times, as described by those that played it then. PvP was not the most perfect thing back then, as it didn’t have many rules at the start. Well, it appears that the first phase of WoW Classic won’t feature things like Dishonorable Kills. What does that mean for the players? You will be able to track down and kill whoever you want to, without any penalites. It’s going to be a bloodbath, that’s for sure, that that kind of chaos and carnage is exactly what some people are looking forward to.
If that doesn’t sound fun to you, just wait until phase 2 comes and adds teh Honor System. That includes things like PvP Rank Rewards, and more importantly, Honorable and Dishonorable Kills.
Blizzard also wants us to know that unlike in modern WoW, ranking up through that Honor System and earning epic gear is going to be a grueling process. After all, if you really want some of that awesome loot, you’re going to grind your heart out. But that’s what some players want, but others maybe not so much.
Alterac Valley, Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin, and World PvP objectives in Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands will be added in the other phases. Now, players just want to get a release date for WoW Classic.
Are you going to be playing in the first phase of WoW Classic or will you wait until the Honor System gets added?
