PvP is exciting because it pits players against each other to see who is better. Players will often battle to earn titles which exhibit their skills so that they can flaunt their battle prowess. You can only imagine how some players would feel if they found out that certain players manipulated certain PvP matches in order to win. Well, Guild Wars 2 players have been complaining on the game’s forums about a certain player, that participated in a monthly automated tournament, but he did not play fair.
You see, this player used manipulation in order to win this tournament, and since a lot of players have been calling out for justice, the developers have responded. Since this player has a history of account sharing and RMT purchase, ArenaNet decided to suspend one of the accounts of the winning team for 3 months, and they also removed all of the rewards from it from the most recent mAT. They have also permanently blocked the main account of this player, which is a fair enough punishment that the other players were asking for.
