We have recently seen the release of the 1.0 PC version of PUBG being released. With this occasion, PUBG Corp. has revealed via a press release that the game has manged to surpass 30 million players across both PC and the Xbox One Game Preview version.
CEO of PUBG Corp and executive producer, CH Kim, commented on what a fantastic year it has been for the game: “2017 has been a phenomenal year for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. With over 30 million players globally across PC platforms and the Xbox Game Preview program, we owe the success we’ve experienced this year to the community, whose passion has inspired all of us here at PUBG Corp. to make the very best game we can. We’ll continue to fine tune the Battle Royale experience and will introduce additional in-game content, including new crates, to become available in early 2018.”
Not only that, but it was also revealed via Steam what the game would be working on in the future, with plans for increasing network stability and anti-cheating practices being near the top of the list. The developers will also be polishing up the gunplay, as well as improving sound and animations.
PUBG is now available on PC, and also on Xbox One via the Game Preview program.
