When it comes to racing titles, there’s usually one of a few things that’ll be the focus. One, is the racing itself, whether it’s over-the-top, or totally realistic, they’ll shoot for it. The other, is look. Again, whether cartoony or realistic, they’ll want the graphics to shine in their own way. Finally, there’s experience, they want you to feel as if this is the one racing game you must have, period. For Project Cars 2, these goals are all part of its finished product, one that’s releasing very soon.
You see, Project Cars 2 isn’t just a racing game, it’s meant to be a true racing experience. The game was built by fans of racing games, and ones who truly wanted to create the “Ultimate Driver Journey.” The original Project Cars wasn’t just a revelation, it changed the game in many ways, and now, the dev team are pushing the game even beyond what they did before, can you imagine that? You don’t have to, the launch trailer will prove their intent.
The game is massive in scope, we’re talking over 180 cars (and you know there will be more coming via DLC) for you to choose from, multiple tracks for you to race down, numerous ways to race, numerous obstacles that will come against you in the race, and more. This game has been bolstered by the best technology the dev team could get their hands on so that everything from the looks to the gameplay is as perfect as it can be.
What’s more though, the gameplay was tested by real-world drivers, as well as the best racers in the esports community. Using their experiences in both fields to ensure the most authentic experience. This is the true racing game.
Project Cars 2 will race onto Xbox One, PS4, and PC (via Steam) on September 22nd.
