It’s that wonderful time of the year once again, where the football season is getting into full swing and we are treated to another entry in the respective video gaming franchise with Pro Evolution Soccer 2018.
Set to go head-to-head once more with rival franchise FIFA 18 for the crown of best football game on the market, it appears as if Konami are pulling out all the stops to help Pro Evo rub shoulders with the likes of the EA footballing phenomenon. This is aided by the new gameplay masterclass that has been introduced, which offers strategic dribbling, real touch+ and a whole new method of taking set pieces that will set the game apart from others of a similar nature.
From a visual perspective, there has been a number of enhancements, including new lighting, reworked player models and animations, which affect everything from body movement to facial expressions, which is something that will help make this the most authentic experience possible.
As well as a presentation overhaul with new menus and player images, there is also a plethora of changes in regards to to game modes you can play. There is now a mode dedicated to online co-op play, as well as the chance to compete in the PES League with myClub. The Master League system has also been upgraded, which will now included new pre-season tournaments, an improved transfer system and presentations.
PES 2018 is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
