Prison Architect was one of the best prison management simulators. Well, we guess there aren’t many games like this out there, but this one just got multiplayer.
Have you ever played Prison Architect before? It is quite a hilarious and also quite an enjoyable game. You would be surprised at how fun it is to run a maximum security prison. There’s always something going down, whether that is a prisoner trying to escape, or a riot going down. Lot’s of fun stuff to do, trust us, but we do wonder how the multiplayer segment will look like. This doesn’t really look like a game built for a multiplayer mode, but who knows, maybe it ends up being fun.
The multiplayer mode came with Update 16. Mark Morris and Chris Delay, the producer and designer of Prison Architect, gave us an overview of the update. The video itself is quite funny, and also informative, so be sure to check it out if you’re interested. As the mode is in alpha, some features aren’t, well, functional. That’s totally expected, as the mechanics of this game weren’t made for multiplayer from the getgo. Enjoy private or public games with random players or even with friends.
If you haven’t played the game by now, give it a try. It is quite a unique simulator/management game, and now that it has multiplayer, you and a couple of friends can manage a prison together.
