Previews Of Battle For Azeroth’s Novellas Released

Blizzard always finds an awesome way to hype up their expansions. Last time we got the Harbingers series that hyped us up for Legion, and know we have these beautiful novellas, that you can only get if you buy the Collector’s Edition of Battle for Azeroth. That’s a shame, but at least the loyal fans that are willing to spend a few more bucks will get to enjoy thrilling stories about the Horde’s and Alliance’s view on the current war.

Battle for Azeroth

There are two pieces of texts available to us on WoW’s site. The first one is Alliance’s “Elegy”, and the second one is the Horde’s “A Good War”, and both of them are impressively written, as one would expect from Blizzard. But, we have to admit that the “A Good War” is much more thrilling than the “Elegy”, but that’s probably because we have two big powerhouses in the scene, first Malfurion Stormrage and latter Sylvanas Windrunner. It would be an understatement to say that the way Blizzard presents certain situations it feels almost like you’re watching a movie, as their storytelling is that good. Just read a part of “A Good War” when Stormrage shows up:

“Does the Horde need a reminder that we are in a war? Does the Horde need—”

And then he stopped. His next heartbeats seemed to last an eternity. His fatigue-addled mind had finally caught up with his hard-earned survival instincts. That boy had not been sent to kill him.

He had been trying to lead Saurfang outside.

In his haste to lecture his guards, Saurfang had done exactly what that boy had wanted. You just killed yourself, you old fool. He turned and flung himself back into the inn. An instant later, the ground shook as Malfurion Stormrage landed where he had been standing.

Battle for Azeroth

These novellas are absolutely captivating, and they just might be awesome enough to entice you to buy the Battle for Azeroth’s Collector’s Edition.
