PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be making its way to the Xbox One Preview program today, and the file size for the game has now been revealed. For Xbox One owners, it will take up a total of 5.24GB on your hard drive. This might seem low, but keep in mind that it is going to be in the equivalent of Early Access on the console, and will continue to grow and expand as the game finishes development and beyond.
Even so, it is still a rather small size, especially when you look at how big the title has become. What’s more, if you are playing the game on Xbox One X, then you can expect a number of enhancements being made with HDR support.
If you have yet to experience PUBG, it presents a battle royale title in which a large lobby of players are dropped onto an island to battle it out in a variety of different groups, whether this is solo, in pairings or in teams, your job will be to eliminate the opposition until you are the last one standing.
As time progresses, players will be forced into an area where they are closer together as the safe area shrinks around them. The best thing to do is to grab whatever items you can before the combat increases in small areas. You’ll then be able to head out into the large scale open world, traversing on foot or using vehicles, and work together or alone to come out on top.
