There isn’t many games out there where you can emerge victorious by simply doing nothing, but one that does fall into that category is one of the hottest games around at the moment with PLAYERUNKNOWN’S Battlegrounds.
One player has managed to come out on top by winning a round from simply planking his character in a bathtub. Said player then went out in real life for a meal, whilst his enemies fought among themselves outside. One of the best things about PUBG is that there are so many ways to approach it, apparently including not playing at all, according to this YouTube video:
It isn’t something that’s particularly common in the game, and takes a lot of luck to actually pull it off. You can see how the tactic worked though, considering that PUBG tends to shrink the area in which surviving players are forced into. So if you find yourself that small area, and the other players end up killing each other or end up outside of the play zone, then you’ve won by simply doing nothing.
Developer Bluehole are looking to crack down on those using AFK farming, which is a common occurrence in many online games, especially with the wait times involved for PUBG.
