PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Parody Gets Supercut Version
Sometimes, you just need to laugh at yourself. After all, with a sense of humor, where would we be? The idea of making fun of something, or poking fun at yourself applies to not just people, but all forms of media. The internet has made it so people can make memes of classic or dumb scenes, or make “honest trailers” of what’s really going on in films and games. Or, allow you to do skits of various properties. Well, a group of guys decided to do that for one of gamings biggest titles right now, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
The group is called Viva La Dirt League, and they started makings skits based on the problems and glitches that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds have/had. The game is currently in Steam Early Access and Xbox One Game Preview, so the full and refined version hasn’t been released yet. Thus, there’s a lot of bugs, and the guys aren’t afraid to point them out.
So far, they’ve done 20 “episodes” pointing out the “logic” of the game. And now, a “supercut” version of it is available to witness with your very own eyes.
Certain things you can expect via these skits are “vaulting fails”, for as players know, if you don’t time a jump just right…you’re going to miss it, and you’ll be exposed and likely get killed. There’s also skits about glitches involving cars, not having any clothes at the beginning of matches, and more, it’s quite funny.
The ironic thing though is that the issues are for the most part still a part of the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds experience, which is a bit sad. But, with the release of the launch version coming soon, it’s possible many of these bugs and glitches will soon become a thing of the past. Let us cross our fingers in hope of that.
