Oh boy, do we see a failure before a game even releases with Black Ops 4 and their Black Ops Pass? You never want to lock your post-release content behind a paywall that will be expensive, especially if you’re a Call of Duty game, as we all know by now that it is mostly played by teenagers and young adults. That means that they don’t have a lot of money to spend, so no one is really sure what is going on with the Black Ops Pass, but the Black Ops 4 subreddit is absolutely blowing up with players complaining everywhere, and rightfully so.
Head over to the Black Ops 4 subreddit and you will see just how people are upset with this whole Black Ops Pass thing. If you don’t know what it includes, people that buy it will get a bonus Zombie experience that’s called Classified, then four other new Zombies experiences that we don’t know what is called, four exclusive Blackout characters, and a bunch of maps.
Of course, some people will buy the pass, others won’t, but the most mindboggling thing about this is that you won’t be able to buy these DLC releases separately. If you want these DLC for Black Ops 4, you’re going to have to buy the Black Ops Pass, and that is a stupid decision no matter what, and it just may kill the game before it even comes out.
