Oh boy oh boy, is this the latest 4X turn-based strategy game from the Civilization series? Well yes it is, and you get to play this game for free for another day, so you should give it a go if you haven’t before. It’s a pretty solid 4X game, it isn’t as good as Civilization V with all of its expansions, but thankfully Gathering Storm is on its way and it’s bringing global warming, disasters, a world congress system, new technologies, and more.
We talked about the upcoming expansion a lot, since it is bringing a lot of new content to the game. Since, you know, Gathering Storm is going to be the biggest expansion in Civilization history. It’s safe to say that we’re all quite hyped for all the new gameplay mechanics that are coming with it.
Civilization 6 does a lot of things right, but it also has some minor issues. Nothing too deal-breaking, and if you’re a fan of the Civilization series, you’re going to like it. That being said, you probably should have played it by now since it did come out in 2016. If you didn’t, it’s free for another day, so take the chance while it’s there!
