As we all know, the world is in a state of panic right now. The coronavirus is making its rounds, taking down city after city. People are afraid, as it’s highly contagious. Now, is there a game where you develop your own virus and try to spread it across the world? Yes, Plague Inc., a strategy/simulation where the whole point is to make your own plague with which to infect the entire globe. The developers, in the midst of all of this, announced a new mode. One where you actually save the world from a deadly outbreak.
This new mode is actually going to be free for everyone. As making any money off this situation would be rather inhumane. So the Plague Inc. and its new mode are being developed with some help. The experts from the World Health Organisation, the Global Outbreak Alert, and Response Network are going to help with this new mode. Plague Inc. devs also donated $250,000 to organizations that are battling against the coronavirus like World Health Organisation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, CEPI, and the Coalition of Epidemic Preparedness.
