Fans of the Dragon Ball Z franchise will be more than familiar with the two new playable characters that have been added to the Dragon Ball FighterZ line up. Developed by Arc System Works, the fighting game has welcomed Piccolo and Krillin too the roster, both armed with their own trademark fighting styles.
Thanks to his expandable arm and the numerous ways to break his opponent’s guard, Piccolo is considered one of the most technical fighters in the game. Add this to his established ability to fire fast and heavy beams that can be charged up for a more devastating effect, and the Namek will prove to be a force to be reckoned with. That goes without even mentioning his Ki blast, which can even be connected to a combo.
Krillin meanwhile may not boast such reach and power as Piccolo, but he more than makes up for it with his other techniques. He can fight from long range with techniques such as the Kamehaeha, or create a smokescreen of sorts by leaving an image of himself before attacking. If things do get tough, you can always use a senzu bean to give yourself a bit of a boost.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently scheduled for release in early 2018 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Next week, on July 26th, registration will open for the game’s closed beta.
