Konami has announced that they’ve partnered with Valencia CF, the Spanish football giants from La Liga. This agreement will see the team published within the PES series, as well as working together on a number of promotional events.
Konami is continuing to work towards partnering with the world’s most famous clubs, with Valencia CF boasting such accolades as winning six Spanish league titles, several domestic trophies and also the UEFA Cup. The partnership between the two will see Valencia CF represented in PES 2018 as closely as possible, with the agreement allowing Konami to use the club’s home, away and third kits in the upcoming game. The players will also be realistically detailed, matching their real faces and individual skills.
The partnership will also see a number of digital co-promotions take place throughout 2017, including Konami assisting Valencia CF in their match day social media activities. PES 2018 will also be aiming to announce itself further on the eSports stage too, after the success of the PES League World Final back in June, as 16 of the world’s best players went head-to-head in a competition to win a grand prize of $200,000.
PES 2018 will launch on September 14th on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
