Payday 2 has introduced a small patch for robbers and thugs that will see the removal of the Raid Beta menu, though players can still unlock the weapons and masks by visiting Aldstone’s fancy new room, according to a recent statement by developers.
The update size clocks in around 193.5mb, and introduces a number of fixes. Now, Aldstone will no longer get scared if he gets hit by a player with a melee weapon. On the subject of Aldstone, his voice lines weren’t triggering properly previously for drop-in clients, which has now also been fixed. Aldstone will now also move around the whole Safe House again, so if that was a fix you have been waiting for, then it’s all good news.
The “Become Infamous” button is now visible directly should you reach level 100 througha a Crime Spree reward, and another fix has been implemented so that the World War 2 weapons are featured at the end of the list if they are locked for the player. Also, by pressing “default video options” in the settings, everything will now properly reset.
Overkill, a Starbreeze Studio, signed off by saying: “We will see you again on the front-lines and by the thermal drill.”
