Path of Exile: Delve Is Now Live On The PC
The most exhilarating free2play ARPG on the market, Path of Exile, just got some exciting new content. Delve is now live on the PC, and so the hardcore late-game struggling can begin.
See, why would you pay for a game like Diablo III when you could just play Path of Exile? Just kidding, both games have their merits, but in terms of content at least, PoE is leagues above Diablo III. New expansions come out every once in a while, and the newest one is here. What’s it all about? Well, it’s about a spooky underground maze that’s filled with treasure and valuable resources. It is also very dark, and the dark actually does damage to you so there’s that.
No more grinding late game maps, no, now you go into a huge spiraling underground map with your trusty cart. The minecart moves and provides light, and so you need to move with it if you want to stay alive. Damaging darkness is an interesting mechanic, but they could have done more with this mechanic. Maybe the dark should have had ridiculously powerful enemies instead of just killing you quickly if you lose light.
But, as you make your way deeper into this Azurite Mine, the monsters do become tougher, and the loot shinier. You also have the option of exploring the mine with light sources and explosives. Roam around the place, find hidden rooms, and acquire any hidden treasure you find.
This is the new late game of Path of Exile, and it does look interesting and challenging. Of course, Delve also introduces new abilities, weapons, armor, and enemies.
