Grinding Gear Games has announced today that Path of Exile: The Fall of Oriath is now available on PC. The arrival of this highly anticipated expansion brings a wealth of new content to the game, and is completely free to play, whilst maintaining the mantra that the game is never “pay to win.”
Chris Wilson, the managing director of Grinding Gear Games, recently discussed in a press release how they received plenty of valuable feedback from community members who played the Beta for The Fall of Oriath, and what they’ve been able to implement as a result: “Systems such as the Pantheon Powers, balance of Power and Frenzy Charges and monster variety in the new content have been directly improved as a result of the communication between our community and the developers during the Beta. We’re extremely happy with how the Beta went and are excited to open up The Fall of Oriath to a broad group of players upon release!”
Path of Exile: The Fall of Oriath presents Grinding Gear Games’ biggest content launch since the base game released in October 2013. This expansion brings six new acts, which effectively doubles the size of the current game, plus it brings a new Pantheon character-customization system in which players are able to possess the powers of the gods.
